A winter adventure holiday in the pristine natural wilderness of Iso-Syöte, a picturesque region just beneath the Arctic Circle in northern Finland. Fabulous activities include snowmobile safaris, snowshoe hiking, a husky safari and a visit to a reindeer farm. Known as the gateway to Lapland, Iso-Syöte lies in Finland's southernmost fell region and boasts some of the country's heaviest snowfall. Throughout the winter a deep blanket of glistening snow covers the beautiful landscape of fells and forests. Nearby you will also find 12 downhill slopes, a snowboard street, half pipes and a snow tube run where you can slide down the slope in a large rubber tyre. The gentle fell area is ideal both for beginners and cross country skiers, with 75 miles of well maintained trails starting from just outside the hotel.
